Curriculum
Daniella de Moura is a visual artist, performer, researcher, teacher and tattoo artist. With a solid academic background, from the School of Fine Artes of UFMG to the PhD at the Sorbonne University in Paris, he develops a research focused on the body’s organicity from an experimental perspective. The body and its residues are used as material and support for the creation of paintings, objects, installations, performances, videos and photographs that embody poetically gender issues, abjection, eroticism and death. Understanding the art research as critical reflexions and aesthetic analyzes inside the process of creation itself, Daniella de Moura inserts her production at the intersection of aesthetics, history, psychoanalysis and ethnography. Her works propose to the body's humoral subjectivity, a cartography of the marginal desire of the becoming-woman process in a phallocratic and misogynistic society.
